I know…go with oem. Not paying $480 per side plus shipping.
Yes, I will be rebuilding my oem shafts with the better boots.

In the meantime, what’s everyone run, and available on rockauto or in Canada, as a replacement cv shaft?
I was looking at the trakmotive extended travel or just their HD.
The HD says not for lifted vehicles, I have the bilstein 5100s on the top notch…would assume it’s still fine to run them.
Truck is not used for wheeling, it’s a pavement princess/work truck/fishing truck.
    Thanks!

I got the trackmotive hdx and immediately after I put it on it was already making a clicking noise when I’d turn, like it was already broken. Swapped that out with the cardone one, the boot ripped like a month after install, but that’s it. I think oem or one of those pricier aftermarket companies is the way to go

Yeah I ended up getting the trakmotiv “long travel” or whatever it was called.
In the box they even include paperwork about known issues, one of which was popping noises from the cv while turning haha.
Only need it to last until I can rebuild my oem shaft, so crossing my fingers that happens
