Not half bad, the spacer brought down intake temps. Useable filter was nice, not super loud.

Just curious as to why you’re getting rid of it?

Always thought about getting an intake but never did take the plunge since most seemed to say the stock intake was better, so was always scared to risk the $$ on one

I just have the filter. Sadly I missed they had this kit or I would have bought it

With just the filter, I don't see a lot of difference. Maybe a slight mpg improvement but in general the truck just sounds and feels better. I think it gives it more air. Now add in the spacer and "straight" tube to go from airbox to engine instead of our tube with its growth, and you should see and feel a difference! Ed, if you are planning to change your engine air filter anytime in the near future, I vote for buying this.

I bought just the filter and that alone is almost 100

Can't speak to why OP is offloading.

But your other statement. The stock intake is a CAI so most the time when people change their intake to one marketed as a CAI, they think they are making a massive change. Really this kit makes the biggest changes to the stock system. As I stated above the smoother tube running from air box to engine will do a lot. That is really the biggest difference between the stock intake and most entry CAI systems that people pick up. The filter is also an improvement but you can also just toss that in your stock system to help it out.

I'm always weary of intakes or filters since more air usually equals less filtration but I can see a theoretical benefit to lower intake temps and a straight tube...
