I just picked up the AFE Pro Dry S Filters and figured I'd write a short review

    https://afepower.com/afe-power-30-10402dm-magnum-flow-pro-dry-s-air-filter

As a note on my Tacoma I had the AFE Pro Dry S, the AFE Pro 5R and the TRD air filter that came with their CAI kit.

These filters seem to be much higher quality than the OEM ones that came with the truck. The OEM Denso ones have a very soft foam that goes around the side and if left too long I could see them becoming a failure point. That being said I do think they're ridiculously overpriced at 161.70 for the 2.

I don't notice any real power difference; however there seems to be a little more intake noise. I would buy them again as they are very high quality; however I do not think they'll be a great performance upgrade. I do like the idea that hopefully I'll never have to replace them for the life of the truck though.
