    Hi all!

I am in the tail end of getting all my parts ordered for my upcoming build for my 2020 4x4 SR5 Tundra! However, I recently decided that I am going to likely spend to get a nicer mid-travel setup over my 5100's (was doing top setting with shims and heard this was going to be a pretty brutal ride) so I am looking at my options here. FWIW I do about 75% highway driving and 25% driving through rough texas ranch roads.

    Some other relevant info:
-Already have JBA Heavy Duty UCA's ready to go on.
-Going to be putting on 305/70r18 Mickey T Baja Boss A/T's
-My desired height setup is 3.25" front and 1" rear (already have the 1-1.5" Toytec shackles) as I will be adding a front bumper that weighs ~125lbs so I am hoping that once everything is installed that the extra .25" of lift will compensate for the added bumper weight and leave me with an ever so slightly nose high stance or dead level. Seems like I will need to add the .14" CB shim on top of the 3" lift Coilovers listed below to get my desired extra .25" of lift. Any issues with my thinking here?

Anyways, I have narrowed down my search to 3 options, but I am totally open to hearing others opinions and recommendations:

-Toytec Aluma 2.5" Coilovers with the matching rear shocks (most budget friendly option)
-Accutune Custom Valved Fox 2.5 Performance Elite front and back (Very Expensive, but seems like an awesome option)
-Darkhorse Option: Bilstein B8 8112 Coilovers with 8100's in the rear (Also very expensive, but seems like one of the newest Coilovers out there. Also can achieve 3.25" of lift with these, so no need for a shim and also read you do not need extended bumpstops with these, but also seem very hard to find in stock.)

Any recommendations or advice is greatly appreciated for my use case. Would love to hear y'alls feedback on my finalists and thought process for this build!

    Thank you so much!

(Also ended up not listing Kings because, and this is a stupid reason I know, but all these setups seem similar enough in performance so I DQ'd the kings based on them being baby blue and I already have the Red JBA UCA's):anonymous:

I have an icon stage 7 I’ve been very happy with.

Getting an accutune kit was a very serious contender. I ended up with an icon set up because my favorite local truck (loneoaktundra on Instagram)and favorite truck here KevinK? (I forget the full screen name, also maybe his wife’s truck? I forget) and some of my other favorites here run icon.

I’ve got 11k on mine and been very happy. I will probably upgrade to deaver springs down the road though.

Stillen CAI, DD 8” exhaust, Toytec Aluma coilovers, Icon leaf springs, SCS SR8 18x9 wheels, Cooper Rugged Trek 275/70/18 A/T Tires, Ecoological bumper shellz and grill surround, AJT interior black out kit, AJT shift knob. TRD pro style grill, VLED aqua blue footwell lights, MESO custom dome and map LED lights, swing case, Rough country bed mat, TRD pro headlights and fog lights, Morimoto XB tail lights and 3rd brake light.
I have Toytec Aluma, probably about 5K or so on them and I'm pretty happy with them overall. Big improvement from my spacer lift with the black SR5 shocks and they definitely help the truck feel more planted even at the top setting (which is how they come from toytec). Once you get going, 30+ mph I think that's when they start to feel the best. Slower roads they are a bit stiff probably because they have a 700lb spring. Love the color too. The Fox's I'm sure would be far superior, as I considered them as well, but for the price point and my needs it seemed like the best option.

Appreciate the input fellas!! I have been researching too much and think I might end up going with the Bilstein 8112/8110 combo!
