    Hey all,
Contemplating my first Toyota Tundra purchase. Looking for some advice. I found a 2017 trd pro crewmax in super white. Private sale for 40k and he won’t take less. Truck only has 15k miles on it and is in superb condition. Inside still has the new car smell. Not sure if it makes sense to buy this 2017 when I can pony up an extra 5-10k and get a 19 or 20. Obviously I’d prefer not to spend more but would if it made sense. So I guess I’m asking if you guys think this 2017 for 40k is a good deal or not. Thanks in advance.

Hi there, i was in the same boat as you deciding if I should purchased from a private seller. I was searching for the best deal for a platnium or TRD Pro and my budget was 35k I knew what color and trim I wanted so I searched most Tundra in the higher trim out there I see are still high and it keeps it value. I ended up finding a 2018 at the dealership and price difference from my budget was about 6k but in the end I was happy with my purchase. The one I got had 20k miles with warranty and it was a 2018 different from 2017 and below. They made some minor changes for 2018 models like the interior gauges, front grill are different. If your looking for TRD Pro trim 2019 is badass with the BBS forged wheels, rigid fog lights, trd pro fox suspension and more. I would try and see if you can locate one from a dealer near you and see if you can make a deal with them. Good luck with your purchase.

I found a 2019 trd pro crew max. 52.5k msrp with a price of 49.5k. Anyone out there think there’s a chance I could talk them down to 45k
