So I’m 4’10” and drive a Jeep Rubicon on 33s right now. I have a little trouble seeing over the hood of the Jeep but I have my seat up as high as it goes. Do y’all think the 22 Tundra will be more or less problematic? I know most of the trims have power seats and pedals, so maybe this will help, but I believe the hood is longer on this truck. Are there any other shorties on here that can give me advice?

Pillows, lots of them. You ain't going to know until you test drive.

That’s what I was afraid of. I haven’t need pillows in the Jeep yet, and I drove my father in law’s F250 a few times with no issue, I just worry about the length of the hood on the Tundra. I guess I’ll have to wait until my dealership gets one. Thanks for the response.

Not sure if it's helpful but the seat in my truck goes up and down. I'd assume that the 2022s will keep that feature so you should have it in every trim except maybe the SR.

ETA and maybe the SR5 without the Upgrade Package.

It’s very helpful. Thank you. The power seat option is honestly why I chose Tundra over the Gladiator. For the same price as a Gladiator Rubicon, I can have power seats and still do off-road things. And I’m keeping the wrangler anyways because it’s my wife’s daily driver.

Here’s my baby girl driving when she was 10. Give you some perspective on the current gen. She was way shorter than 4’10”.

I remember seeing a video where one of the journalist’s had move the seat all the way forward and I was really surprised how high and close to the wheel that it moved. I’m betting if the keep wasn’t an issue I think the new Tundra should be fine.

I thought I read somewhere on here a while back that someone had spacers made to lift the seat up and inch or so. Not sure how safe it would be but I’m sure with the right material and design, shouldn’t be an issue. I’m no engineer, just speculating.
