Just put my coilovers on and the right front developed a clunk after a few miles. Every little bump it makes a clunk or rattle sound that you can hear in the cab. Everything was and still is properly torqued. Any ideas what would cause this?

Did you reinstall everything, like your sway bar?

Yea. Just went out and had someone rock the truck while I looked at everything, and I think it's actually the resi mount clunking on the frame behind it. I pulled the mount out a little bit and it seemed to help.

Just to update this in case someone comes on here searching the same issue: The clunking noise was the passenger side resi mount hitting the metal inner fender and the bottom of the bracket for the air injection pump. The resi brackets are pretty flimsy and allow quite a bit of movement when the truck is bouncing around. I trimmed the bottom corner of the inner fender and the bottom edge of the pump bracket so now the resi mount doesn't touch anything.

I'm going through the exact same thing right now. I'll edit this post with my results, thanks OP.

@helidave you nailed it sir, thanks! I took that side back apart (PITA) and could see where the bracket was rubbing on the 1/4" of inner fender liner. I cut off the nub of the inner fender liner with a multi-tool since it was tight quarters for a cutoff wheel and cleaned up the edges with a file. I went one step further and cut the interfering corner of the ADS Resi bracket just enough to clear everything. I didn't get a pic of the inner fender but did get one of the bracket if anyone else has the same problem. I'll also tag this thread in the ADS thread since they're becoming more popular.

Quick edit, if anyone has to do this DO NOT remove the one clip that's tucked up behind the air pump hose on the inner fender liner. You'll know it when you see it, just work around it and tuck the liner up out of the way.

I had that happen with with my reservoirs. I stuffed a bit of weather stripping foam with adhesive behind it as a temp fix and eventually changed the mounts out. It was a very annoying clunk.

What mounts did you substitute? Mine seems to be good to go but it would be nice to know. Thanks.

Different truck but since I removed the inner fender liners completely I picked up some generic mounts from Camburg and bolted them to the body of the truck. Basically driver side under the battery and passenger side under the air box. With them bolted in solid there is no chance for movement.

You can probably find a spot to do the same.
