So I have a 2015 limited Crewmax, my mirrors are heated and have the BSM markers. I'd like to add the turn signal indicator. I've heard that most of the tundras have the wiring harness already wired up for mirror turn signals that way to can upgrade to tow mirrors. I was looking at upgrading to the Platinum mirrors so I get power fold as well, but that seems like it's really hard.

So I've settled on trying to just add the turn signal, but I haven't seen much info on that. From what I can tell you can buy just the glass with the lights behind it? Does the Platinum mirror glass have heat, BSM, and turn signals? I don't want to lose the BSM. Could I just swap the mirror glass from the Platinum and connect the turn signal LEDs up and it would work?

If you're current side mirror has the wiring for the turn signals then yes, you can just swap out the mirrors with the built-in LED signal indicators. If not, you need to wire them up for the turn signals to work.

Didn’t have to run extra wiring on my SR5 for the Trail Ridge turns to work but I suppose the SR models may need to

Is there any documentation of what I'd be looking for? Am I just taking the glass out and looking for a connector taped up not plugged into anything?

Also, does Toyota sell the mirror glass with heat, BSM, and the turn signal?

The harness that comes from cab where the side mirror plugs in to is already pre-wired for turn signals but if your side mirror doesn't have turn signals, then most likely its harness is not pre-wired to connect the turn indicators to.

In regards to the mirror glass with Heat, BSM and turn signal - @Roman is the best person to ask.

Do you think that little harness would be it's own part number or part of the mirror housing? If it's it's own harness you can buy I can't imagine it would be too pricey and then I could swap the connector harness as well.

the wire is in the door on your 2015 limited. you can just tap / splice into it before it goes into the plug at the mirror. I installed signal mirrors from muth, have been trouble free for 4 years.
