I am looking to buy a replacement bed for my truck - used and then have it painted (access cab 2005 fleetside)

I am seeing a few in good shape that dont have the larger plastic flares (and the holes for them). Anyone have any experience adding flares to those?

Alternatively, I could take mine off in the front but i see that will leave lots of holes which seems like it'd be a ton more work to fix.

    thanks!

I have the OEM flares on mine and have been an aftermarket flare hater until just a few weeks ago when someone put up some pics of theirs. They had to paint them like you plan. They looked really nice, but I do not have a link. Someone?

The EGR flares are very close to a stock look and they’re paintable. And they sell just the rears. Here’s a couple of photos I found of said flares.

the part number for just the rear set is 754694R
