I've been researching all morning looking for various mods I can do to add extra peace of mind.

One thing I'm coming up light on is camera monitoring systems.

Anyone have any experience or suggestions with video monitoring on their Tundra? I'm hoping to find something with the secondary benefit of having a traffic camera just in case of issues while on the road as well.

The Thinkware line of dash cams has the hardwire feature where it can record on motion while the vehicle is parked. However, I have the Thinkware X500 but I don't leave it in the window at night. I don't like thieves.

Keep it simple. Mobius cameras are like $70. Just make sure to use a card designed for constant writing. Wire it to an always on circuit and just let it record 24/7. I don't see the benefit of relying on motion to trigger a recording when the card can store over 24 hrs.
