I've been on the fence for a few months on what bumper I want. Addictive Desert Designs (ADD) just released their new stealth bumper for the 3rd gen tundra. I like that it has room for a 40” radius light bar and a winch. It also has the option for Baja designs or Rigid single row 10” on the sides. I like the sharp edges to complement the Tundras body lines. So I want to see what you think of the new ADD bumper or the Body Gaurd bumper for my build?

Both are sweet, but I have to vote against the crowd and go with the Body Guard. I like the look of both but when it comes to a bumper doing bumper things, the bigger body guard looks like it'll do a better job.

Here’s a good pic of my buddies white tundra with the Body Guard bumper. It does allow for double row 30” bars or single 30” and a winch. AFB6852F-B77C-4939-89B4-9D5E6BC901FA.jpg

I like them both. If I had to choose, I like the Body Guard. Maybe because there is a little more metal on the corners.

I’m leaning towards the new ADD bumpers. I like the sleek lines and how they left the rear eyelets for the shackles away from the bumper. This will help keep my Monster Hook or Royal Hook shackles away from the bumper. Plus I like the idea of having a 40” radius led in the bumper and still have room for a winch.

I'm going with the Body Guard ones. I'll take practical and useful over looks.

Front Bumper: Dual foglight set up. So much more light.

Rear bumper: Has built in steps. Recessed shackle mounts.

I love that ADD Stealth bumper and was really excited when I saw the launch announcement today. Then my excitement faded when I realized with a winch, 40 inch light bar and side lights you're looking 4-5k for that front bumper setup.

I like the ADD one better for more tire clearance and approach angle, i like their old one too but I’m sure the price is way too much for me. Both options for rear bumpers are not my liking, they need to make high clearance rear bumpers for the tundras not just strong ones. I wonder which one is the lightest???, I’m picky, high clearance and light weight....wishful thinking

I prefer the ADD, front and back. The rear ADD has better departure angle than the body guard... but if you're planning to drop off big boulders, still maybe too much.

ADD seems to look better with the body lines of the truck. But does the ADD not have any fog lights?

The ADD offers the option to install 10” single row leds on the side. Although they make 10” driving leds I don’t know if they are DOT approved.

Also I like the way the ADD has the parking sensors in it. Looks really clean. Not sure if that is an option on the other one.
