Add Auto Folding Mirrors, is it possible

Is it possible to swap the standard manual fold mirrors on my 21 TSS to the Platinum auto folding mirrors?

 

Mirrors themselves are plug and play (adjust, heat, signals will work) but if your truck didn’t come with power folding you will need to manually wire it and get an updated switch.

KTJO makes a kit to make the install easier (I used their kit but modified it for my needs). Search KTJO on this site to learn more and some of the positive and negative experiences customers have had.

There are also threads on the site from community members who have done the mod without a kit.

 

This Boost Auto Parts video shows how to retrofit power fold mirrors onto a non-power fold truck. The fact that this is a tow mirror is probably sort of irrelevant. Hope this helps.

The platinum mirrors aren’t auto-folding to my knowledge. They only auto-adjust to a specific memory setting.
