I have a 2010 tundra double cab..4.6 2wd I went to les swab and had my tpms sensors replaced because the tps light was on so i had all 4 tpms replaced now the tpms light is off BUT..now my abs .traction control
And my break light is on
.they said take it to the dealer and have it fixed and they would pay for it since no lights were on when I took them the truck. The dealer wants $79 to do a diagnosis to see why the abs light traction control light and break light is on then I'll have to pay to have it fixed out of my pocket money I don't have ...they said all they did was reset the tpms system they don't know why the lights are on now Does anyone know how I can fix this problem to avoid the dealer and there outrageous prices...I know les swab said they would pay for it but I'm on disability and I don't have any extra cash ...does anyone know how to fix this or what could be the problem now ? Please help !

I had the same thing happen to me on my 2017 4Runner when a lift was installed.

If I am remembering correctly it was the wheel speed sensor. I also had no 4x4 (not that it matters to you OP being 2wd…). You could Google a picture and probably take a quick look at it. Mine was evident when I seen it.

Why are you worried about paying for it if the other shop agreed to pay... Just have the other shop call the dealer to have it arranged to send them the bill... No money out of your pocket..

Wheel speed sensor is also my guess as to why the lights are on. If it has grease all over it could also have a bad wheel bearing, which is the root cause of the part to be replaced. Sensor can be cleaned up, those run $200 or so.

ThanksJckdanls07 I'll go to Les swab tomorrow and tell them to contact the dealer to arrange the appointment for me to bring it in and make arrangements to send Les swab the bill. Or les swab can pick it up when it's fixed so they can pay the bill...so I don't have to pay out of pocket for there mistake
