I have had PTO winches and wire rope winches before... not rope. All had roller fairleads and cable hooks. What is the best option for the rope stop at the aluminum fairlead? I like the factor 55 folding hook, but the nipple type has a smaller profile and probably less likely to rattle. This truck is my daily driver for now and freaking rattles drive me crazy. Just have zero experience with the synthetic rope or Hawse fairlead... does the synthetic rope stretch after being drawn up to the connector over time?
