A Truck, not to be confused with The Truck, a Bought Thread Reborn

It all started in 1975 when I was a twinkle in my parents' eyes. I kid, I kid. I bought this truck in November of 2015 when I was in the throes of a mid life crisis. See I had started a business in 2011 and it was just starting to pay off but rather than enjoy our childless years traveling the world, my wife decided to start a business in 2014 as well. We always enjoyed camping together, so I decided to get a vehicle that I could load up all our camping gear and go camping. And so it began.

As I had done in the past, I joined a forum to learn more about the vehicle. Started off well enough. Just got Bilsteins on all four corners and called it a day.

Then I found some idiot named @osidepunker on the forum's build section. He had some cool ideas and some far fetched ones. I decided that I wanted to do what the cool kids were doing. So I went out and got ADS on all four corners and Deaver leaf springs. I even went out and got bed bars and a RTT and few more glamping goodies.

I went on exactly 2 trips with the guys before I decided I wanted to go LT. So A Truck went to Savage Fab for a TC front end with King 2.5" coilovers and bypasses.

I drove that kit for about a year and decided I wanted more. Do you see a pattern here? A Truck went to LSK for their race kit in the front and their daily driver link kit in the rear. King 2.5" coilovers and 3.5" bypasses.

I can’t recommend staying away from @osidepunker enough. He helped me ruin a perfectly good daily driver.

 

@osidepunker has co-conspirators in this truck deformation scheme. I blame @roypark too. After all, his old TC front found it's way onto my truck. And, let's not forget, @papasmurf, @KevinK and the rest who are at least guilty of being bad influences.

Watching all the #stockmobbing videos trophyburro has been putting on their insta hasn't been helping either.... I don't have soft sand anywhere around here to drift or do fun things on so now its hard packed dirt farm field roads. you feel everything through the clay in sunderland and the closest fields to me are pretty hard packed topsoil and gravel
