A.R.E. V-Series topper for $1975+ tax. Is this a good deal?

My 2022 Double Cab TRD Sport with a 6.5ft bed is hopefully a week from being delivered. I need a topper/cap on my truck ASAP, and I was just quoted this from local A.R.E. place in Denver, with a 4-6 week lead time.

This is $1000 cheaper than what seems a comparable SnugTop "Rebel". I am yet to receive any quotes from LEER dealers, although I emailed 3.

Is this a good deal, and more importantly, is this a good topper? I have no frame of reference other than a few posts here mentioning quotes anywhere from $3-5k.

Sounds about right …I have CX with windoors and love the setup

 

I do have the drop down & sliding window near the cab & reinforced roof.
The only thing sounds off may be delivery time…l ordered around Jan this year and didn’t have it in til early April
I shopped Leer but I know my local ARE dealer and just felt better going thru them. Snugtop was on the top of my list bc of the fold UP glass they offer but not dealers close to me by a good bit

 

Apparently they just started shipping 2-3 weeks ago - no one even had any available until then.

All I want is sliding windows on the sides and a sliding window in the front. All other options - I don’t really care. Might spend extra for roof rails, just so I have them in future.
