    I recently bought a 2005 DC SR5 4x4,
My plan is to beef up the suspension as I will be putting a 6 1/2' wester plow on it as I do my own driveway.
Before you give me grief I've been successfully plowing for over 10 years with this plow on a 1993 toyota pickup and it has worked great.
I'm not looking to spend a lot on the suspension so I'm planning bilstein 5100's all-around and an AAL in the back. My question is about adding a new coil springs up front. Is that advised and if so what size? My plan is to use the adjustable 5100's up front and if I upgrade the coils springs I would like to buy the shocks with the springs already in place, I did that with my current 2010 taco which worked great.

    Thanks!

Find anywhere that has coilover shocks in stock (good luck) then have them tell you what they have that will fit that truck.

If you let us know where you are, we can probably point you to a local-ish source.

Ok, usually you’ll get quick recommendations for Toytec because, I read often, they’ll spend the time you need over the phone to dial in options based on your truck and planned uses.
