2015 5.7... Just got back from a road trip and the AC was shutting off and switch light was flashing. I've searched and read some possible causes but didn't see anything with my exact issue. My issue is it seems to happen when accelerating for a long period of time. Like going up a long grade. Did it a handful of times. I was able to get the AC back working after turning it on and off a few times. Anyone have this issue before? Or have any insight?

Yeah I saw this. Just not confident it's the relay based on the symptoms/issues I'm having

What was the solution? My 2014 AC is flashing only when I step hard on the Accelerator. I turn the button off and on again and the AC works fine.

Definitely start w/trooper2s suggestion; relay is always first place to start. However, if that doesn't resolve your issue, you're probably looking at an AC compressor or compressor clutch going out.

By design the light will flash to indicate a problem within the system, but that's the extent of the troubleshooting it does for you. Good luck on having an inexpensive and easy fix!

Relay was replaced almost right away, as I was in the desert when it happened and I needed a quick fix. I was able to get it to work, but it eventually continued to happen and if I went too fast on the highway with it blowing at MAX, it would cut out and blink with hot air. I was able to get it to run on a lower fan speed and it stayed on for the rest of the trip, and haven't had an issue today with it blowing full speed. The clutch would be giving some sort of symptom of failure I would think, but I haven't seen or heard anything of the such. I 'll try to spin it with the engine off tomorrow to see though. Thanks!
