I just purchased my neighbors 2007 tundra limited with the Trd off road. It’s in great condition with few minor scratches and no rust. My problem is that the AC takes about 30 seconds to come on and I always have to reset the temperature settings. The mileage is 124,000 and I will also be having the dealership replace the timing belt, water pump and thermostat. Thank You

I think I remember reading about this being normal operation when you have the AUTO option set in a limited. Not sure about the temp resetting, but it takes a little to start blowing.

My 07 would somehow revert to the Auto setting at times and I'd also need to adjust the temperature setting. Kind of a pain but as long as your heat and AC is still working I wouldn't be too concerned about it.

With the automatic A/C, there is a delay on a cold start. But other than it starting with recirc if the cab is hot, I never see anything else that has to be reset, at least while it's left in "auto." The set temperatures all stay where I left them. Not sure if I turned off the auto, it would stay that way on the next startup, since I usually leave it in auto. What is it that you find is having to be reset every time?
