Just a quick brag on my 2012 tundra. It has been recently retired after 6 years and 209,000 hard working miles. Definitely the best rig I’ve ever owned. The 5.7 tundra worked extremely hard for 6 years. Pulling a 22ft cargo trailer 5 and 6 days a week. Other than routine maintenance the only issue was a starter being replaced at about 185,000. And front door lock actuators about sane time. But compared to other trucks in my industry I under spent them on repairs by a large chunk. Just sold the 2012 for nice chunk. The resale value versus others in its class was shockingly good. With the ‘12 retired just spent my first week in a 2020 tundra. Looking for another strong 200k in this one.

I agree with your point but the Tundra is the most American made truck on the planet. Japanese engineering built in America. Win-win.
