Anyone have any input on wether putting 6112 would work on 5100 bottom hats? Mostly concerned with what might happen under load to the bottom hat and if the spring will sit upright. Anyone try anything like this? I have an isolator from the stock strut that would fit in between.PXL_20240614_161809596.jpg PXL_20240614_161742041.jpg PXL_20240614_161909923.jpg PXL_20240614_161929020.jpg

    Paging @memario1214

What happened to the hardware that came with the 6112's?

Purchased these springs independently. All I've seen online to mate these properly online is an adapter on PRG products. Just thinking about if these would work safely or if the spring is going to shift around due to the 5100 bottom mount shape. It also sits on the outer 50% of the mount as you can kind of make out in pictures 1 and 3.

No, the coils aren't suitable as they're a different design.

The 5100's are made to take the factory style springs.

Yeah, I was expecting a unanimous response like this. I'm just exploring the thought and if anyone had any experience trying to run race coils on 5100s that they might be able to suggest a way to make it work.

    Oh!

I misunderstood your post. I thought you had 6112 body and coil but were trying to use 5100 bottom hats
