I am wanting to put a 6" lift on my 2011 Tundra. My questions are what offset is everyone with a 6" lift running currently and did it require any cutting? I am very comfortable with doing a body mount chop if necessary. I want to push the wheels out as far as possible with doing a body mount chop and modifying the front fender liner. Currently I have Bilstein 5100's all around but have always wanted a 6" and now is as good a time as any.

Think my offset is 6. I have a 7 inch lift, with 18 x 35" tires. The only thing I had to remove was the front mud flaps. The lift hardware and wheels you choose will play a big role though.

Thanks for the info. What brand lift do you have? I am wanting to do 35x12.5r18's with a -24 offset because I like the wide/pushed out tire look.

How far your tires stick out is exactly what I'm wanting. I take it you had to do the body mount chop?

With basically any 6" lift you need to cut the crossmember to make room for the font diff.

The is ONE 6" lift on the market that I'm aware of that doesn't require cutting. That is the Maxtrac 6" lift: https://maxtracsuspension.com/i-305...tundra-4wd-6-0-lift-kit-w-maxtrac-shocks.html

There is a member on here running this lift with no complaints. He posted pics of his CV axle angles and they didn't seem any worse than what you'd see with a 3" lift.

I'm okay with having to cut the crossmember, I was just trying to figure out if I have to cut the body mount or not. With my last tundra, it came with aftermarket wheels and I never looked to see what the offset was, but it would rub the cab mount at full lock in reverse.

No body mount chop it gets close on full turn and on a bind but still doesn't hit.

Yeah you can run a 35" tire on 6" lift no problem - no BMC required.

Excellent. I had read conflicting stories so I wasn't sure but now there are several people on here saying that I don't need it so I'm gonna roll with that.

I'm running the Pro Comp 6" lift with 35x12.50x20 tires on rims with -22 offset. No rubbing on body mounts, but I DID have rubbing on the front bumper when reversing with the wheel turned over to the left or right. I ran it that way for over a year. I have since put an aftermarket armored bumper on, so no rubbing anymore.

Nice I've been looking at about a -24 offset and was nervous because on my previous Tundra, I had a levelling kit with 35's and it rubbed the body mount a little when at full lock in reverse and I had +18 offset. I would've thought that less backspacing would cause more rubbing issues.

I love this rig. You mind telling me the brand of fender flares? Thanks.
