I'm looking at 5th wheel campers for long term wintering in Arizona. I have a 2021 Tundra Crew SR5. 5 1/2 foot bed. I'm looking at 26-28 ft trailers with dry weight 7,200-7,800. Anybody got any experience/advice?

With the pin weight and driver - you’ll be over GVWR before anything else goes in the truck.

5 1/2’ bed is also super short for 5th wheel clearance. Slider hitch may help, but is also heavier. These trucks are not ideal for 5th wheel trailers due to the inherent higher pin weights and low payload ratings.

Avoid almost all the issues, get a decent bumper pull around 26' max and a Trailer Toad.
