Tacotunes amp with single 10"Sub. Sound matting all doors and rear. Component speakers all 4 doors. AJT climate Knobs, AJT Shifter and cup holder Black. shorty antenna. Need some help with what to do. I have purchased but not installed 5100's for all 4 corners. Also I purchased Eibach coils. I was advised to set the 5100 on lowest setting and with the Eibach should gain 2" lift. My question is should I go this route or get the Eibach pro truck shock that can be set at 2" or 3"? Also is it safe to put the 5100 on 2nd setting? Thanks for your insight this is new to me so I'm trying to get it right and not cost myself more in the long run.
    Thanks

A true adjustable coil over would perform better and you can adjust the height, but the 5100s and eibach coils are a good choice. Not sure what the price difference would be, but that's up to you. For me 2 inches if lift would be just fine.
You do NOT want to set the 5100s on anything other than the lowest setting when also adding lift coils, you'll preload them and it will ride like crap and also stress the shocks and risk failure and thats not good.

Do you have the part # for those Eibach coils?

OP, did the 5100s and coils come from Toytec?

Is there a reason you went this route instead of just going with the Toytec/eibach assembled coilovers?

I would call bilstein and ask. The 5100 was designed with stock coil in mind. Putting a longer coil could bind at full compression or push the shock past full extension.

@OBXTundra I got the coils from Toytec but the 5100's from someone else. Hindsight I probably should have went with the Toytec/Eibach coilovers from the jump.

I should add I spoke with Dave @toytec and he was super helpful in answering my questions. Great company in my experience so far with them.

Any status on how the Eibach with the 5100s worked out?

Haven't installed them yet. I'll update the post when I get everything up and running.

Your warranty for the 5100 is now no good. I think the bilsteins are junk. I've rolled the snap ring that couldnt be done...if I remember the Titanic couldn't be sunk either. I have since went to the old manspring and strut. Love it. Good luck with your set-up
