The time has come to finally level my truck. I'm right at a 2.75" difference front to back. I'm planning to go with the 5100 adjustables set at the top. It's a RWD truck and I am 99.9% on the road (granted TX roads are very nearly like offroad sometimes)

I got a price from the local club recommended shop - $850, assuming no blocks in the rear, just swap the shocks. With an alignment. 4WheelParts looks like $730, though they said they could probably do better on labor, I havn't pushed though.

Looking at just parts I can get them delivered for $380. From there a lifetime Firestone alignment is $150 (unless I can find a coupon). I've done struts on passenger cars and small SUV's before and I am not afraid of spring compressors. Just trying to decide if it is worth the extra to just have it done or if this is a fairly easy DIY.

There's a way to so it without a coil compressor. I did it on my Tacoma and it worked well. I found the video on YouTube.
You could also remove your coil assemblies and bring them and the 5100s to a shop and have them swap them over. Probably only and hour labor that way. Be sure to put on the c clips and spring perch the right way before you get there and tell them not to mess with it, just swap the coils and top taps

$500 is right about what 4WP wants - $203 for parts, 200 for install and 90 for alignment. Their rear install price was $15 each, which is a no brainer.
