    Hey guys

    Just picked up a 2010 DC SR5, 100k for $10,500 with 275,65,18s

prior to the SR5, I had a 05 Tacoma 4.0 6 speed. Awesome truck, just didn’t like towing.

Anyways I ABSOLUTELY love this truck. But the one thing I don’t like is the factory rake. I’m really wanting to do the 5100 upgrade.

    BUT..

I tow just about every weekend.. a 14’ enclosed trailer with 2 450rs ( Sport quads ) and about a 100-150lbs of gear in the bed. If I don’t tow that, I am towing a SXS ( Artic Cat wildcat sport which is around 1100lbs ) plus a 14’ open faced trailer.

Which setting should I go with on the 5100? Middle?

if I went with middle setting, do I need to do ANYTHING to the diff? Or is it a install, align and go?

    Thanks a ton!

Welcome from WI and congrats on the new truck!
The middle setting will keep a very slight rake to the truck. I would imagine that you'll want that for towing to keep from being too nose high. On the middle setting you don't need to do a diff drop.

    Welcome from NY.
5100's would be fine on the middle setting.
