Hi All, I'm looking at joining team Tundra. Currently looking at an impeccably clean 2007 tundra double cab 5.7 with only 50K miles on it. The ridiculously low mileage and condition it making it hard for me to put a fair value to it. Hoping for a few opinions on whether it would be a good deal at $12,500? Would you jump on this?

    Can you verify the mileage?
    Is there any rust?

The price sounds fair if it's the real deal.

Zero rust, it's been treated each year and the mileage is verified. Very low wear and tear on the interior also backs it up. Not sure how I feel about the diner coffee cup graphics though...

need more info- 2 or 4wd?, any options? Price seems decent, is it a private party sale? Clean title? # of owners?

Main thing to check, regardless of low miles, is how the underside looks and if rust is an issue. Seen plenty of low mileage vehicles at good prices, but closer inspection brought up rust or other issues.

For reference, KBB shows pricing for a 2007 5.7 4wd doublecab with 6.5 bed and 50k miles as $16k to 19k, private party sale value

It's the 4x2 doublecab with the towing package. Not having 4x4 is probably the only strike against it, however I'll probably only be using it to tow a camping trailer, it won't be my daily and won't see much use in the winter. I checked for rust and it was clean, though the anti-rust oil spray prevents getting a really good look at the frame. No rust issues on any of the body panels.

For the miles, i would drive it until the wheels fall off. Solid deal, especially if you need it to tow!

Look for signs of flood damage. At this point, 5 years on, it is impossible to discount the insane floods in eastern Texas and Florida 5 years ago.

Also, your photo is a bit difficult to interpret. But............is that a unicorn? An 8' long bed??? If it is. There's no tell tale signs of flood immersion. And everything else meets with your approval..............I'd be on it like a drunk college freshman sorority girl.

Price sounds wrong, I'm suspicious. That's how much a truck with 200k+ should go for, not 50k.

Yes that sounds like good deal if everything checks out. I'm not crazy about the graphics on it either but they can probably be removed if not painted on.

It’s also got a plastic front bumper which I think only came on Limiteds and Rock Warriors. Might check for front end damage.

Check good for accident damage and rust. If that checks out good then it sounds like a great deal to me.
Can you get a Carfax on it. It's not always 100% reliable but might give some insight to how it was maintained, accident info etc.

Yep that's right it is a 8' bed. Is that a rarer configuration?
