Hoping someone can help. I've checked and confirmed the actuator in the transfer case is working. I can hear it move and also confirmed that the drive shaft to the front wheels locks in. However, after it engages, I hear a series of beeps around the tc actuator. Then the actuator run again, I'm assuming to back out of 4wd. I've bench tested the front differential actuator and it works as well in both direction. I've plugged in the actuator but not have it installed and it slides back to the rest position when I turn the truck on. The collar inside the front differential that the fork goes into also slides real easy. The front actuator didn't move when I tried to put in 4hi though. I was by myself and didnt want to put it in drive. I looked at the plug and it looks normal. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Also, anyone know the interworking of the microswitch. Based on a mega thread about 4wd, in my photo attached of my 4hi actuator on my TC I have it set for 2wd. So does it spin counter clockwise until the other arm at the top (12 o'clock) hit the switch to say hey, you're in 4wd? or does it spin clockwise and the arm on the right around 5 oclock hit the switch to say HEY you're in 4hi? What's the 2 metal tab at the top right corner of the actuator? What do they do?

Welp, took some time but was finally able to figure it out. I created a video, mostly for myself to remember what i did, but also hope this help the next person dealing with their 4WD TC Actuator issues. First video is what I learned about 4Hi, second is about 4Lo.

Was this on a 2007 5.7L ? I'm asking because I've read the 4.7 and 5.7 may have different TC so timing may be different on the actuator rod. Any help is appreciated. I also commented on the you tube video so sorry to spam ya lol
