So here me out I love my truck I really do the last time I recall my 4x4 working was right before my air injection pump went out. I did my research and found a bypass kit for the air injection pump being that the parish I live in doesn’t have emission test I didn’t need it.

so here I am with a truck that the 4wd won’t engage it just starts flashing slowly then it gets faster. No other lights on. I heard a few possibilities could be a relay on a control board that I have yet to find/look for because I just learned about it. Also one of the actuators wether it be the front diff or the T-case. Or the 4wd switch.

Starting with the actuator on the T case. I was honestly looking for a wiring diagram for the connections to possibly do some wire testing to make sure power is at least reaching that far. If it doesn’t then I know the problem lies before that.

once I find out if it’s the t case actuator or not or wether it’s before or after it then I can determine if it’s the front diff actuator. But that connection wire diagram will help with this.

Is there anything else I’m missing that it could possibly be the fuse is good I’ve checked it(kinda a knowledgeable first thing to do).

please if anyone has answer I could definitely use them to make this easier on me and less costly I can do the work just gotta know what to work on.

I'd check your brakes first.. Make sure your calipers are still working properly and not seized.
