When I try to engage 4hi, my 4hi flashes, I hear my actuator whirring then it beeps for a few seconds, then it clicks for a few seconds, then it starts whirring again and 4hi flashes quickly. Both 4hi and 4lo actuators are in perfect condition. When I had the 4hi actuator off, but still plugged in, I had my assistant turn on 4hi, then I manually pulled out the 4hi transfer case shift rod at which point the ADD actuator actuated and made a clunk. My diagnosis is that although my actuators are functional, the 4hi actuator is unable to pull the transfer case shift rod out. Has anyone had this problem or know a solution? Thanks.

After further inspection and alteration, the rod is moving, however the signal switch is not being pushed.
