Just created an account and looked through a lot of the posts here. I have a 2017 Tundra Platinum and my 4HI just continually flashes and 4LO gives me the tone and flashing light. I’ve tried all the tricks of full turn engagement, backing up, trying it over and over again to just get it to unstick. I can feel the rpm’s rise slightly like the truck is trying to engage 4HI but it won’t lock the front diff. Any change anyone’s had this issue or found the solution.

did it ever work? are you the original owner? I had a NIGHTMARE with a similar issue when my truck was new with less than 100 miles on it. I have a long post on another forum if im allowed to post here. Ill try in a sec. Let me see if I can dig it up.

Get in the owners manual. I have the same year and after using 4 low on the property for the afternoon couldn't get it to go back to 2 WD. I was just not doing the steps in the correct order. Was a simple solution when I did it the right way.

No changes, the truck is in 2WD and will not engage 4WD. When switched to 4HI the light just flashes (the correct sequence was done), when attempting 4LO(correct sequence used) I get the flashing symbol and the tones indicating it is not engaging.
