I recently purchased a 2010 Toyota Sequoia. I know it's not the tundra but I believe my issue could also be an issue with the 2nd gen tundra. When engaging 4 wheel drive my 4hi and center diff lights flash and no 4 wheel drive engagement. Took it to a shop and they scanned it and said 4 wheel drive ECU needs replaced. They only scanned and did not actually troubleshoot further. A remained ECU is $700. And ideas on if I should replace ecu, or troubleshoot elsewhere. I did tap on center and front diff actuators to hopefully get lucky, but to no avail. Any help is appreciated!

Had that replaced like 4x in our 2004 sequoia. It’s $400 less than it was way beck then!
