4" Speaker in dash?

Hey , just wondering if any one here has been successful putting a 4" speaker in the dash location for the 3.5"? just picked up some JL C5-653's (3 way components, tweets , 4" mids , 6.5" woofers)

trying to figure out what route to go , make a adapter to fit or make adaper an mount it with the door.
What's you guy's thoughts?

 

I had to do a bunch of cutting to get 3.5's in the corners.

 

yeah it was pain when I put my 3.5s in at this point , I'm wondering about 4" an the fact its a 3 way. would using the front windshield as reflection of sound be worth it for mid.

if I went that route would have to figure out how to cut more an mold a bracket to make it solid. then was thinking of trimming the factory cover and edging the circle so the optional grille could be installed an be raised like 1mm to 2mm sticking out.
or
go with trying to figure out how to mount it in the above the 6.5" woofer an make it clean. It would make it easier to wire the cross-over though. I more so fear messing up a door panel over a small grille cover that would be easier to replace.

at this point curios of a Install of a 3 way.

 

I fit a 4" in the center dash when I was trying to make my JBL MS-8 DSP work and needed a dedicated center speaker....



But I don't see you getting a 4" speaker in the sides, width or depth..
Unless you mounted it on top of the speaker grille...

 

Can I relocate the gps circle somewhere else?
