2015 Magnetic Grey Crewmax

Posting for my dad. He called me today and said his '07 5.7 didn't seem to have any power in 4 Lo. He was using a trailer and hauling a few ton of gravel and he said going up hill he would floor it and the truck would not accelerate at all. He thought it might be in limp mode while in 4Lo or something. Otherwise I think the truck is running fine. Any thoughts on the issue?
