Early June I was in accident where someone tried to cross a busy road right in front of me and he hit my front left tire area. Rim was fine but it required lower control arm to be replaced among other damage.

just checking everything out. Shifts into 4 hi and lo ok. When in lo and crawling straight up my gravel driveway the steering wheel will have a shake to it. Gravel road but it’s very dry out.

does this seem ok? I’ve only used 4lo once before for a short distance to move a felled tree slightly and can’t recall.

just checking while its still fresh w the insurance company

Doesn’t read normal, but find another incline that doesn’t have gravel, to compare. There’s no reason your truck should shake in 4x4. If you do tha same gravel incline not in 4x4 do you get that sensation that it’s shaking?

I could speculate that maybe the gravel is uneven enough that you're getting a little torque-steer, but your description of "shake" is kinda vague. Maybe you're able to have a passenger video the experience? Also, if you're able, have another mechanic take a peek. If they find something, they can document it for insurance.

Thanks. 4 hi seemed normal to what I am used to and do not experience anything unusual when in the same place on the gravel. Torque steer may be a good description. I was going real slow. Admittedly ‘shake’ is vague. Good point.
I’ll try it in the yard off gravel as we get lots of rain here in a few days to give it a different surface to slip on.
