Hey guys! I've stalked the forum for a while now, but never posted.

My 2002 Tundra starter is going out, and i've been considering this for a while-seems like the time is now, rather than replacing the starter, and then pulling back apart later to do the following.

I have a 2002 Tundra Limited TRD with a supercharger, and a 1999 Landcruiser with a stock 4.7. My LC is built with full armor, 35's, drawer system, and the works. I was considering swapping the SC over to the LC since the Tundra seems to have more than enough power for what I use it for, where the LC falls way, way short climbing mountain passes.

If I have them both sitting next to each other in my driveway, both running fine, would this be a straight forward swap from one vehicle to the other? Could swap the SC to the LC, and the stock intake manifold, plugs, and accessories, plug stock ECU back in to the Tundra, and all SC related parts and TRD ECU's to the LC.

Anything I'm missing, or that I should know before attempting this? I've done plenty of motor work, and have replaced the starter on the LC, so very acquainted with the top end of these motors.

Any help or guidance would be appreciated!

Paging @empty_lord, though I believe there are one or two others on here who could probably answer.

You would need different idler pulleys and a shorter serp belt if I remember correctly for the lc, otherwise I believe that the piggyback ecu and all of the s/c parts are direct swap. Here's the install guide, with notes differing between tundra and lc if I remember correctly. https://www.lextreme.com/PDF/2UZTRD.pdf

I sadly donthave much input on the 4.7 superchargers.
