    2001 Toyota tundra
    I know it’s not a exhaust manifold leak.

    I know it’s not lifters...

    From the cab... it’s louder on the drivers side than it is on the passenger side.

    The sound goes away when the ac compressor kicks on.

    One fellow 1st Gen said he fixed the same noise (possible impeller rub)when he replaced the water pump...

    My mechanic says it sounds like a wrist pin.

    I don’t want to put this truck into the rotation till I figure it out....

    I drove this truck to Michigan and back with zero problems...

    Has 110,000 miles

    2000 tundra with a salvage title....
