Just installed the Rough Country bedside molle panels, wanted to provide my experience in case anyone else is interested.

Price point is great, each panel is one solid piece, and the design preserves the bed cutouts near the tailgate if you use that as a divide. Passenger side tie down attachment (near the cab) didn’t fit at first, had to drill two holes for the bolts to line up.

Once you’ve attached the panel to the rails and tie downs, it’s pretty rock solid. There is an additional tab at the bottom to drill into the bed and secure with a nutsert. I didn’t do this yet and instead just secured it with a screw and rubber spacer; there was so much tension already I felt the drilling wasn’t needed.

Aside from a minor mod to fit, it’s been great. Time will tell.

do you have pictures of it installed? would it work with the tie down rail relocated lower for tonneau cover

It mounts directly behind the factory rails and didn’t change their location. I have the Weathertech trifold which is essentially just a few compression clamps in the rail track; no issue. I’d like to get a Diamondback eventually which I think would still work.

Based on your cover design with the rails mounted lower, you may have to take everything apart, mount the panel first, then reassemble. Sorry should've included pics:

@Hella Krusty extra mounting points mostly. You could strap things like a fire extinguisher or something

    Nice install!
Here's mine. I "made" the Amazon version work, despite the drop rail. I just used the first molle row as mounting points, instead of the higher mounting slots on panels. I'll probably rearrange accessories as needed/wanted.

Instead of drilling, I used one of the tie down bolts supported by RC, threaded through and used two nylon grommets on the stem, each side. Each grommet was 3/8" ID, 1" OD, 3/8" length.IMG_8173.jpg

Looks like a spot to collect debris. Go get a load of firewood with those stupid things in there

The more I look at these the more I can’t understand what would make sense actually mounted on them. They look ridiculous and in the way of everyday bed use. Looks like the inside version of the super handy bed racks.
