New to the site and have been looking at 2024 Tundras. I know that some of the complaints were fit and finish issues as well as rattles, creaks in windows etc. Has most of this been resolved by now in the 24s?

Picked mine up about two weeks ago. Was at the dealer for about 2 months before I got it. Combination of a long bed and the smoke mesquite color is why most people overlooked it I think. Love it so far though. I have had none of the issues that I read about on the forum prior to buying. But that doesn’t mean that another truck won’t have an issue. Definitely recommend driving one and seeing what if any issues it has. Lots seem to be pretty full of tundras at the moment so you should have plenty to choose from.

Worst rattle in my '24 Limited turned out to be my sunglasses in the holder up by the rearview mirror. Flipped them over and noise went away. I do think the interior feels a little cheaper than some of my prior cars. I don't think this one has anything major. Wife hasn't said anything about noises.

Picked mine up in December. There were a lot then and there are a lot too choose from now in my area, except the TRD OR models. I found this ‘24 Limited Crewmax 4x4 Blueprint “Nightshade” version (no chrome) identical twins on two different lots. Fit, finish and ride very nice on both. Negotiated with both dealers and picked the best deal. After 800 miles it developed a loud whine from the rear and dealer replaced the rear diff carrier at 1,100 miles. No other issues. While I was looking, I saw a few that had some trim issues, but most looked great.

The problem with most of these issues is that they are subjective in that some people notice certain noises and others don't. It's totally possible that many people that claim they have no rattling or wind noise issues, actually do but it's not to a level that they recognize as abnormal.

I've asked a couple of friends that work at Toyota and both said that there haven't been any running changes that they know of. My November 22 build, 23 Limited has some pretty obvious wind noise at the back top corner of both front doors, the center console lid rattles, the backrest on the driver side front seat has a creak and feels loose, and my bed rattles and makes noise that I can hear when I put my rear glass down. All of these issues have been fairly well documented on this forum and some have fixes that include part replacement or some sort of DIY solution. Aside from these NVH issues, I love my truck and think the interior quality and fit and finish is really good.
