So my truck came with 275s on it obviously. I was going to order 33s then i realized that’s damn near the same size correct ? Should i order 34s? I’m going to be running stock suspension with a 1.5 leveling kit. Thank you any response appreciated

The stock tire of 275/65/r18 is like a 32". I went with a 275/70/r18 which put me at like 33.2". They fit well on stock suspension and wheels. If I had a leveling kit I would probably go 295/70/r18 on stock wheels which would put it at a 34". If you go aftermarket wheels then the flood gates open you will look at doing some modifications to make sure they don't rub

275/70-18 fit well on stock truck and are a bit taller than 33s. 285/70-18 can probably be squeezed in on stock truck but would probably need stock offset wheels. The 285/70s size do cost significantly more however and there are limited choices in that size. Anything larger will require 2+ inch lift in the front. 295/70-18 and 285-75-18 are very popular sizes for leveled/lifted Tundras. And of course moving to any larger than stock size mean moving from the standard load stock tires to E load.

275 is the width. The second number gives you the height. The stock is 275 65 18. Going to 275 70 18 gets you a 33 inch tire, not smaller than stock.

Ok that clears up a lot .. so I’m thinking 305/65/18 slightly bigger then 33s with +20 offset.

Because of tire or offset? Maybe I’ll just stick to ordering 33s lol
