I have a 2021 TRD Pro WITH 30,000 miles. I have yet to tow anything (if that matters)

It was due for an oil change so I brought it to dealer for oil change and 30k miles service.

They told me the battery failed load test. I have not had any issues but don't want to take the risk so approved battery replacement (true start battery for $198)

They recommended power steering fliud replacement and brake fluid replacement but didnt say why. Just seemed to be a standard upsell attempt (maybe I'm wrong?)

I feel like I might be getting scammed on the battery but I'm crazy busy at work and don't have time for dealing with getting stuck somewhere cuz my battery is dead.

Sounds like your truck has no issues. If it’s not broke, don’t fix it. Save your money.

    Too many, but not enough....
Battery is a ripoff. Go to costco for better and cheaper battery with great warranty. Power steering and brake fluid you can turkey baster the reservoir out and refill with new every 10k miles and your good.

I would not get the Toyota battery but a aftermarket battery that is an upgrade. The power steering fluid you can do yourself easily there are some YouTube videos. The brake fluid is a good idea to replace since brake fluid is hygroscopic which means it will attract water and reduce its effectiveness. I like to fully change out brake fluid every 2-4 years and bleed the brakes if you have never done this have it done by a mechanic
