Taking my 2021 SR5 4WD in for 30k service in the morning. What can I do myself or bypass? I'm not the most mechanically inclined. I don't tow or have heavy loads and I don't drive dirt or dusty roads. Here are the ones I need help with if I should let the dealership do them or not.
    -Preform fuel injection service
    -Replace brake fluid
    -Replace front differential fluid
-Replace rear differential fluid (including limited slip)
    -Replace transfer case oil

Fuel injection service is a scam(if it’s running fine, don’t mess with it)
The rest is pretty easy, tons of content on YouTube

The basic 30k service per the maintenance manual is just oil/filter, tire rotation, air filter and cabin filter. You could certainly do the filters using OEM parts and save the money on labor.

The keeping truck forever 30k service would be the above plus front/rear differential fluid, transfer case fluid, trans fluid drain/fill, brake fluid, lubricate brake pins/slides.

don't know what diff fluid dealer use, but if you get some synthetic diff fluid you could see mpg gain.

I ended up letting the dealership do all the service besides the fuel injection service. I plan on keeping the truck forever. Please provide more details for how I complete the fuel injection service on my own or direct me to some videos if that service is necessary. I don't know if it's coincidence but I normally get 13.9-14.0 mpg but after the service I am getting 15.5 mpg.

    Thanks for all the feedback!

At 30k on a Toyota, I would have the tech check level on the transmission and solenoid function. This is supposed to be checked every 30k for transmission warranty. My dealership did it for free.

So if they do it that way it's worth the money?

I add Amsoil P.I. to the gas tank every oil change and do some full throttle fun intermittently through that tank of gas.....fuel injection treatment complete.

    Too many, but not enough....
U don't need the so called fuel injection service, ever. Just gun it on a freeway on ramp once a month to clean the carbon on your valves.

I'll be doing 30k maintenance with a tranny drain and fill as well.

    The injector cleaning seems questionable.

Id think a fuel filter is more important
