I just ordered my 2WD CrewMax Limited from the dealer. I'll post pictures as soon as I can.
Looking through these forums, I see lots of great pictures of trucks with Level Kits, Lift Kits , wheels and tires.
Now, I'm curious to see if anyone made their 2wd look like a 4wd?
Share some pictures and specs please.

**Edit** - I want to know what size tire I can add to a 2WD truck before needing a Level or Lift.

How do you tell the difference between a 2nd and a 4wd by looking at the exteriors?

You can add the same leveling spacer to it.. turn it into a Pre-runner Tundra!

That would be based off the lowest part of the vehicle off the ground. Which generally is the front lower A-arms or rear diff. And nothing will change that height except for tire size..

Yeah because the lowest point on the truck is the differential and that’s what Edmunds is listing. Toyota lists a “running ground clearance” and the 4x4 is 0.7” higher than the 4x2. Approach and departure angles should be different for 4x4 too.
