    Yes you do get some movement out of them. Mine flexes quite easily with only 30 K on it. Giving a good amount of a push up I can get mine to move about a quarter inch. I’m sure I could get more if I really bench pressed that bitch LOL

    But with that crack, I would probably be wanting to replace it. Is it giving you any vibrations?

    That could be one of your wheels. Vibrations are fun to chase around LOL. Since you’re only getting that vibration on the passenger side, try swapping the wheels to the driver side to see if it changes. I haven’t ever looked into what it takes to change the carrier bearing, but it looks straightforward. I have read that the first GEN is a nightmare!

    I can’t remember, do you have longer shackles in the back? If so, do you do a driveline spacer?

    I installed the three-quarter inch spacers on my carrier bearing w/CB+2’s. Zero vibrations. Why were you told not to do it? Coach builder a.k.a. David recommends it.

    Not seeing carrier bearing on that though. To be honest I think I just gave them the good old arm torque wrench. I’m pretty strong so I choked up on a 3/8 drive ratchet.

    Interesting you got block type spacers. I got disk style. Basically a really thick aluminum washer. Let me know how it goes man.

    I don’t think it serviceable. Unless you mean the driveshaft.

    Well the problem is that when I first bought the shackels and I was going to install the drop kit I loosened both bolts with out marking where they go now that I read the book on how to remove and install carrier bearing it said to make sure you mark where bolts were so the drive shaft can be balanced but I did not do that. So now I'm wondering how I can balance it?

    Right because the carrier bearing has slots so you can move it from front to back. I think I did mark the position or at least put them where the bolts made a mark on the bearing flange. It bothered me to do so,Because I’m the type that would center the flange perfectly.

    Although I’ve never heard of anybody mentioning something about marking its position. But it doesn’t mean it wasn’t in that position for a reason from the start.
