Does anyone know for sure what is required to be changed on a 2wd 4.7 to install in a 4x4 besides the wiring harness?
Both engines are the same year.
Both engines are complete (original 4x4 engine has lots of carnage due to broken timing belt)
I am going to be putting this 2wd engine in a 4x4.

if the truck the engine is going in is already 4x4 the engines are identical. it just the harnesses are different to control the transfercase.

That's what I was thinking. Engine should be the exact same.
