I’m asking cause I don’t know. I think I’ve seen Tundras with electric vertical rear sliding windows. Just have no idea which years or trim packages if they do.
Any info anyone has as to what years they were installed in if in fact they were.
    Thanks J

I believe that is a feature with all crewmax models. I know for a fact that the extra/extended models do not have this feature.

My 2010 DC SR5 has a Rear Power Sliding Glass. It's just the Center Section but it's power none the less. My Salesrep said "only the Crewmax" has power rear glass. Most of the time it pays to do a little research for OURSELVES! I realize it might require some effort but in this age of "do it for me," it'll be worth it!

I’d only have interest in full width window. For a Center section slider like my ‘07 RC SR5 I’d just be happy with manual.
But I’m intrigued by the idea of a full width opening.

There was one I know of done, it was posted on another site years ago. It involved cutting the back of the cab off and grafting the two trucks together.

Well now. That’s not gonna happen. Must be major structural differences. Thanks for the info. Google search coming up

Steve is the only one I know that has done in. He told me he bought a crewmax cab from a yard local to me actually.

If I remember correctly, he said the slope of the crew max cab with the windows is different from regular and double cab. He cut the rear wall off the crewmax cab and put it on his regular cab. I know he has pictures somewhere, I have seen them.

He mentioned Tundratalk so I will look there. That’s a guy who likes his truck. I’ve got a pair of Land Cruisers like that. Tundra next I suppose. I’ve already looked into the 2.9 Whipple Gen4 SC.
it would be really hard I expect to find a donor body that has that window. Maybe start looking now and see what floats to the surface.

You will not get a full glass roll down window without major cab modifications as mentioned.

Ya. Just looking at it now. I’ve done a lot to different trucks over the years but never anything like this. Too bad it’s not easier, but then I guess everyone would do it.
As I mentioned probably going to be darn hard to find a donor. Once these things hit the yards they get stripped down really fast.
