    Hey all,

I've scoured both the 2nd gen forum and this forum and cannot find an answer.

I have a non-JBL / non-navigation audio system and this past weekend I removed the passenger seat. I was under the impression that I would find the factory amp underneath but to my surprise I found nothing there.

Question: Are there other places where a factory amp would be found?

I started upgrading my system, replaced all door speakers. I've run the power wire via the passenger side as I want to install my amp underneath passenger seat. I've purchased a LOC but now am on fence on the LOC versus upgrading the HU.

Question: Are there any major things to consider if I go with replacing factory stereo?
