I am trying to do a bumper swap on my 2011 with a 2016 bumper and I see pictures and people have over hang on the side is there anything I can do to not get that side over hang?

Not with the 2nd gen fenders. I believe from the thread that doing a full front end conversion will take care of it. I'll see if I can find the thread for the member that converted his entire truck.

The “wings” of the 2014 bumper have a more square shape while the older 2007-2013 are rounded. This is the reason for the slight gap. Only way to eliminate this is a full front end swap from firewall forward. Fenders, hood, grill, headlights, bumper.

I swapped my 07 front end to a 2015 one.

I have seen 07-13 trucks with just the front bumper. It doesn’t look terrible but is slightly noticeable
