Would 295/70R18 Nitto grappler trail fit a stock 2016 Tundra trd off-road?

Yes. 3.5” up front and 1” shackle in the rear. I had to do some minor trimming on the front plastic to get rid of the rubbbbbbb.

Chris you have a few things to consider when going up to that size. Even if you lift it you still will have UCA issue's with the width of that tire . I have 6112's up front set @ top setting , 2.5 " and 295 70/18 Ridge Grapplers on factory rims which I then had to go with spacers (spider Trak 1/14"). I rub @ full lock in reverse but not enough to worry about . So lift it, get new rims with doable offset or you'll need spacers like me. Hope this helps:thumbsup:

So if I go with a 3/1 spacer lift I should be good? I have 18x9 with +1 offset

+1 offset is likely to require a BMC depending on which UCAs you go with.

I have stock wheels with 295/70/18 Toyo. I only did a 2.5” RC leveling kit in the front nothing in the rear. They did trim some plastic off skid plate but no rubbing at all. Don’t think it will work without any leveling or lift kit.

Body (or Cab) Mount Chop. Not a big deal though it sounds like it is.

Chris that +1 offset could cause some rubbing, it's on the aggressive side. Outside of removing flaps and massaging some plastic, shouldn't be a big deal. You might want to consider flares with that offset. Just sayin:cool:. Post pics when installation is done.

Those are going to stick out pretty good from the cab, I would definitely look into getting some flares.

I guess what I’m more concerned with is if it will fit with the 3/1 life. As well as rubbing.

The answer is, yes, you can make them work. They will fit on the truck fine, but as mentioned above, you will have rubbing. Most likely removing the mud flaps, push the inner fender liner forward, and the body mount chop. It depends what you are comfortable doing to eliminate the rub, but they will fit height wise. I had to remove the rear front mud flaps on mine with the 275/70/18 with a 2" level, as that's where it was rubbing.
