285/65R20 on Stock Wheels with 3/1.5 Level

Just wanted to put this out there for anyone looking to do the same. Tires fit great and only thing I may need to do is bend skid plate up a bit. No rub on flat road but had a little rub when flexing. Very happy with the tire size I went with.

Thanks! I am really happy with the way it turned out. Everything is still practical and it looks clean. I wasn’t sure if I would have to do some trimming but I think all I am gonna have to do is get some pliers and bend the skid plate up a little.

 

You plan to bend the stock skid plate correct?

One like an RCI Skid might even prevent that rubbing issue

 

Thanks. I hadn't even considered looking into a different skid plate. It is the slightest rub and it doesn't do it when I am on flat ground. I will take a look at those skid plates.

I recently ordered an RCI skid plate to replace my stock on, they don't have the little "wings" of metal that jut out on each side but still give coverage where its needed. Not sure on the TRD Skid plate but the RCI one might help solve the problem!
